I am Sajan Rajagopal, a Product Manager by profession and a writer by passion. I call Chennai home though I’ve lived in Bangalore for a decade now!
Growing up in Chennai, my home was filled with stories of Tamil Gods, kings, freedom fighters, politicians, artists and writers. Traveling in and around Tamil Nadu to visualize these stories have been a way of life – Always looking to learn more about Tamil as an identity and not just as a language. I treat any new piece of information about Tamil as a celebration of this ancient civilization.
I also realized that celebrations are memorable when people come together. This is why I created celebratetamil.com. It is a way for all of us to celebrate the amazing Tamil identity and inspire people globally.
Purpose

‘Celebrate Tamil’ is a digital platform to celebrate the glory of Tamil- not just as a language but as an identity.
We tell stories of Tamil people, places, art and culture in the aim to inspire the world.
We also want to promote Tamil and make young Tamil’s be proud and aware of their identity.
